“Our goal is to ensure that our clients are never ordinary. Whether it’s marketing, strategic planning, fundraising or public relations, our clients stand out and so do their bottom lines.”

Marlie began her marketing career in her hometown, Edmonton, where she worked with clients such as Eaton’s, Woodward’s and the Oilers. Her innovative television campaign for Eaton’s won several CLIO Awards (New York).
In 1980 Marlie moved to Vancouver to join McKim Advertising and manage the Tourism British Columbia account. As a Vice President and Account Director, she worked on well known award winning accounts such as B.C. Film Commission, CP Hotels, The Keg, B.C. Steamship Company, Tourism Victoria, Blackcomb and Pharmasave. She founded the successful Public Relations and Event Management Division of McKim in 1988.
Since starting Bridge Communications, Marlie has had the opportunity to undertake strategic planning, marketing, sponsorship, fundraising and public relations for a number of organizations including: The Vancouver Professional Theatre Alliance, The Stanley Theatre, The British Columbia Wine Institute, YVR Art Foundation, Festival Cinemas, Andres Wines, IKEA (Seattle), The Federation Of British Columbia Writers, The City of Vancouver, The Contemporary Art Gallery, The Comfort Inn, Chrysler Canada, The City of Vancouver and Quails’ Gate Winery.

Bonnie Allan possesses a range of expertise and experience in marketing, sales and theatre. Having held the position of Sales and Marketing Manager of the Vogue Theatre, Bonnie contributed, through public relations, promotion and marketing initiatives, in making the Vogue Theatre one of the busiest venues in the City of Vancouver. Contact:
Marlie Oden or
Bonnie Allan to discuss your communications needs.

As a company that normally does not self-present, having Bridge Communications on board to coordinate and implement our marketing and publicity needs was one less thing to worry about. Their professionalism, dynamic energy and sense of humour was, no doubt, part of the overall success of THE NUMBER 14 at the Waterfront this past spring!

Their enthusiasm and creative approach, provided us with both the energy and marketing exposure that we needed to make our production a success.

As enthusiastic as they are creative, Bridge Communication provided us with one of the key ingredients for a successful run of THE NUMBER 14 at the Waterfront Theatre.

Focused and creative, the Bridge Communication team of Marlie & Bonnie were welcome additions to our production, and we believe provided us with the market exposure and tickets sales that we were hoping for.
